Amanda Worthy
PhD Candidate | Civil Engineering | Data Engineering
University of Washington, Seattle
Hi there! I am a final year Civil Engineering (data science option) PhD student at the University of Washington. I spend the majority of my working time as energy infrastructure researcher, educator, and geospatial data engineer.
I am particularly interested in making the built environment more sustainable through data-driven, performance-based analysis. My current research assesses the impact of urban climates and microclimates on building energy performance, ultimately aiming to make urban scale building energy models more accurate and reliable.
I hold an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle (2021) and B.S in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2020).
I am always looking for new collaborators. Please feel free to reach out by email or over LinkedIn!
